We need your help!
We are looking for volunteers to help make this year’s US Salsa Open Championships a success! Volunteers assist in positions such as registration, security, and setup. Volunteers receive free entry to the US Salsa Open, as well as a complimentary US Salsa Open t-shirt.
Welcome to the US Salsa Open Staff!
We’re gearing up for our second year, and with your help, it will be even more successful than last year. This year we are asking for an 8 hour commitment in exchange for a full pass to the Open. Volunteering for a 4 hour shift qualifies you for a 50% discount to the US Open. Our super dedicated staff who volunteer over 8 hours will also have priority in choosing volunteer shifts for Congress!
We have a limited number of positions in marketing that will take place prior to the Open, but the majority of spots will happen Friday AM and PM, and Saturday AM and PM. The general areas will be registration, security, workshops, and competition. There are also a limited number slotted for Sunday morning for stage breakdown. The tentative schedule of events is posted online at the US Salsa Open website, so please take a look at it in order to plan your weekend. E-mail me with your name, phone number(s), which shift you would prefer, and if you have retail/cashier experience. If you have other skills such as marketing or graphics design, please let me know.
